We have received a gold medal and two silver medals at the International Wine Competition of Thessaloniki 2016 where more than 500 wines were tasted blind. The award winning wines are Lefkada-Shiraz 2013, Zambartas Marhatheftiko 2014 and Zambartas Rosé 2015. It is the 3rd time in a row that Zambartas winery receives a gold medal during this competition. We are happy to announce that we have been awarded 6 medals at this year’s Cyprus Wine Competition. Our wines were distinguished amongst 132 wine labels of 29 Cypriot wineries which participated in the 9th Cyprus Wine Competition. Our Rose 2015 and Lefkada-Shiraz 2014 were both awarded with a Gold Medal and our Maratheftiko 2014, Semillon-Sauvignon Blanc 2015, Xynisteri Single Vineyard 2015 and Shiraz-Lefkada 2013 received Silver Medals.
At this year’s Decanter World Wine Awards, held in early May in London, we have received 1 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals. Our Rose 2015 was awarded with Silver and all the other wines we entered in the competition received Bronze; Xynisteri 2015, Semillon-Sauvignon Blanc 2015, Maratheftiko 2014 and our Lefkada –Shiraz 2014. We are happy with our steady results at Decanter over the years and especially satisfied that all our wines entered were awarded,

Our Xynisteri Single Vineyard 2015 got awarded as the ‘best Xynisteri of 2016’ by Gastronomos Magazine of Kathimerini Newspaper, during an evening dedicated to Cypriot quality food and drinks early December 2016.
