Kataklismos Weekend – Single Vineyards Tasting
We welcome you during the weekend of Kataklismos (Saturday to Monday 11-13 June) for a unique experience to taste all our newly released Single-Vineyard wines!
Special offer for our Kataklysmos weekend 20 euro p.p. (normally 25 euro), valid Saturday the 11th, Sunday the 12th and Monday the 13th of June.
Taste the organic white Xynisteri S.V. 2021 and discover its depth and complexity. The Rosé S.V.2021 made from the indigenous grape variety Mavro will surprise you with its bouquet and volume. The not-Orange S.V. 2021 will show you the marvellous result of blending Xynisteri and Mavro in a novel way. Then you will taste Margelina S.V. 2020, from our centenarian vineyard-queen planted in 1921 with 6 grape varieties and cultivated organically – a lost piece of the mosaic of European viti- viniculture, The last dry wine is the powerful Lefkada S.V. 2019 produced only in 900 bottles. And to complete your experience you will taste a barrel sample of our 7-year old Commandaria.
Each of these wines will be paired with matching canapes prepared fresh on the day.
The canapés are made with local ingredients and it is an opportunity for both locals and holiday-makers to get to know the oeno-gastronomical variety of our island and it is a fun way to learn about food and wine interaction
Included in the offer: 6 wines, 6 canapés, a platter with fresh village loaf & organic olive oil, a single-origin coffee, tea and a tour of the winery with our knowledgeable hostess.
