Grape Escape 30/11 – 01/12

Wine lovers, mark your calendars! The Grape Escape event is back on the 30th of November and 1st of December, bringing together five of Cyprus’s finest wineries – Argyrides, Kyperounda, Tsiakkas, Vlassides, and Zambartas – for a memorable communal wine experience. This year, we’re introducing a blind tasting game, an interactive adventure for those passionate about wine.

Blind Tasting Challenge

At each winery, you’ll be presented with a unique wine to taste ‘blind.’ Points will be awarded at each stop based on your ability to identify key details, such as region, vintage, grape composition, and more. Search carefully at each winery to maximise your chances of winning a prize! Here’s a little secret: those who identify the most challenging variables in a wine will earn extra points.

*The top three participants who correctly identify the most elements will win a special selection of wines from each winery, including limited-edition or rare bottles.

Guided Tasting Presentations and Pairings

Each winery’s hospitality team will host a tasting presentation, walking you through the techniques and characteristics that bring each wine to life. Learn how to evaluate aroma, color, body, and finish while enjoying a carefully selected pairing. Expect local cheeses, cured meats, olive oil, and freshly baked bread, chosen to enhance the unique qualities of each wine.

Event Details and Reservation Requirements

• Tasting Sessions: Three time slots will be offered at each winery – 10:30 – 12:00, 12:30 – 14:00, and 14:30 – 16:00.
• Reservations: Required for all tastings. Each winery will manage its bookings individually, with limited availability per session. Please contact each winery in order to reserve your bookings.
• Cost: €15 per person, payable upon arrival.
• Age Restriction: This event is for adults only.
